Vic Firth - Industry Leaders

Vic Firth have since their beginnings back in 1963, become the industry leaders in creating drum and percussion sticks to a higher standard than ever before. They pride themselves on being hugely sustainable, using a 100% recyable packaging, by constantly recycling the water used on their grinding machines and by using the offcuts of wood and shavings to heat the factory year round meaning that nothing is wasted. 

Founded by Vic Firth himself, a percussionist and drummer as well as a businessman and campaigner of renewable business. Vic started to create his own sticks in his garage before word got out about his superior sticks and retailers started calling asking to stock them. 

In 2010, Vic Firth merged with Avedis Zildjian in a pre-planned merger as the companier are believed to share similar views in terms of business beleifs and attitudes.

Vic himself passed away on July 26th 2015, leaving behind him a legendary legacy.
