Fender Squire

Fender Squire - Their Story

V.C Squire Company was started in 1890 by Victor Caroll Squire to sell strings, violins, banjos and guitars. In the mid-1960s the company was bought by Fender. The strings sold by the company were of very good quality and so Fender decided to sell the strings under their own name thus making Squire all but defunct as a brand.

It was 1982 which became that Fender would bring back Squire as a cheaper version of their guitars. The guitars have been manafactured all around the world including, but not limited to Japan, Mexico, India, Indonesia and China.
