                                                      Vintage staggered 59’ style Strat pickups.

Capturing the tone of that era but overwound for a warmer tone rich in harmonics and sustain. Tight highs, woody mids and spacy bass

Each pickup is numbered and dated to record moment of creation

White pickup covers. Can be aged on request

 

Our pickups are entirely hand wound on bobbins with #42 AGW enamelled copper Formvar wire and vulcanised fibre flatwork. Completed with vintage pullback wire. All components made in the USA

Tension controlled by finger and thumb. These pickups are scatter wound to give a truly vintage tone with richer harmonic content.  This process does take time with slower winding but each pick up 100% handmade with great care attention and pride.
