Abaco start in 2003 to make different music. They play powerful rock with shades of alternative and prog metal. Their first EP release follows in the same year. Gigging is the next step: a few highlights are their shows in Amsterdam's Melkweg with Chevelle and as opening band for Baroness, and at Despotes Festival near Nijmegen.
Today's Abaco are Remco (guitar), Antoine (vocals), Edgar (drums), and Marco (bass). They sound like Tool, The Melvins, Kyuss, A Perfect Circle, Meshuggah, and Abaco.
