The term keyboard describes electronic keyboard instruments with 49, 61 or 76 keys. A hammer mechanism does not exist, the keys are soft as is the case with an organ or an electronic organ. Keyboards are "portable keyboards" that are lightweight and easy to carry. They often come with an accompaniment and generally have a wide variety of tones (sounds).
