Excellent Condition Very cool looking and excellent sounding Orville Les Paul Standard Foto Flame finish
Made in 1993, these foto-flame guitars were only available for a limited period and are very rare.
They combined excellent Japanese craftsmanship and build quality with a at-the-time new technology for giving the guitars a flame top appearance.
Guitar has been recently serviced, deep cleaned and set up.
Hard Shell Case or Hard Foam available for sale but not included in the reduced price - please ask.

Condition:
Frets: about 80% remaining
Body: Excellent vintage, lightly played
'Stress-cracks' have appeared on the laminate Foto-Finish at the screw-points.
No visible buckle wear
Neck: Straight
Finger-board has virtually no wear
Truss Rod: Accessible & Functional
Volume & Tone Knobs: Crackle free (recently serviced)
Jack Plug: Crackle free (recently serviced)
Selector Switch: Crackle free and fully working. No cut-outs (recently serviced)

 

The 'MuzakShack' Maintenance - 'Standard Package'
Frets carefully cleaned with 0000 grade steel wool to remove tarnishing
Fret-board cleaned and dried with Dunlop Lemon oil.
Tuners & Machine Heads removed and cleaned with steel wool then cloth-polished
Bridge & Tailpiece removed, cleaned with steel wool  then cloth-polished
Pickups checked and gently cleaned inside with cotton buds to clean off a little oxidation (not needed on this one)
Crackly pots and selector switch sorted with contact/lubricant spray designed for electrical components
Body deep cleaned using very mild Dunlop cleaners (warm cloth and elbow grease + more cloths!) then polished using Dunlop cream
New Strings (Ernie Ball regulars)
Action lowered and intonation set up
Checked for fret-buzz (I've left action low so there is a little bit of buzz on some frets)

Must be shipped in hard case so that couriers will insure the guitar. If you don't want a case please we can work something out (e.g. loan case with deposit and pre-paid return label to send the case back to me)
